The bey
Wizard Arrow is the first Stamina Type of Beyblade X, and it set the tone for what endurance looks like in the new generation. Its bow-and-arrow-inspired Blade is designed for outward weight distribution, which means the mass sits far out and keeps the bey spinning long. It's the quieter, wiser sibling to Dran Sword's brute force — it doesn't hit hardest, it simply outlasts.
Stock build
WizardArrow / 4-80 / B (Ball)
- Blade: two large circular, protruding contact points built around outward weight distribution, with low recoil that makes it hard to knock around.
- Ratchet (4-80): four protrusions at a tall 8.0 mm height — a strong lock, but it sits high.
- Bit B (Ball): a hemispherical ball tip with lots of floor contact, which keeps the bey near the center and spinning a long time.
Good at: sheer endurance, plus a surprisingly tanky, defensive feel for a stamina bey.
How it plays
Launched with force, Wizard Arrow circles the center of the stadium before settling into a steady upright spin in the late game — classic Stamina Type behavior. Its low recoil and smooth shape let it take hits it really shouldn't for such a light bey, and it can be a genuine threat to Defense Types. But being high (the 4-80) and light makes it an inviting target: a strong attacker can burst or KO it with relative consistency, and it lacks the pure balance of a heavier endurance build.
Combos & variants
Because the Blade is smooth and low-recoil, lowering the combo tends to help. Swapping the 4-80 out for a lower 4-60 ratchet reduces its height and cuts down on burst risk, and combinations like Wizard Arrow 4-60N or 4-60HN (with Needle/High Needle bits) became popular with competitive players. The 3-60 ratchet also shows up in stamina and defense builds.
Where to get one
Available in two first-wave products: the BX-03 Starter and the later BX-05 Booster (Japan, July 15, 2023). It reached Western fans through Hasbro as Arrow Wizard. Both the Blade's stamina and the Ball bit have made it a long-standing budget-friendly component pick.
