Silver Wolf is Beyblade X's celebration of the free-spin gimmick, a Unique Line Stamina Type that carries not one but two free-rotating parts. Where most beys just try to spin long and avoid trouble, Silver Wolf is built to actively deflect hits while preserving its rotation — which is why it quickly earned a reputation as one of the most interesting endurance beys of its generation. It's the bey of the character Ginro, and a serious pick for players who want to outlast opponents rather than beat them up.

- Blade: has a free-spinning sub-layer that rotates independently when struck, deflecting and mitigating incoming attacks instead of absorbing them fully — the key to its incredible stamina.
- Ratchet (3-80): three blades at a tall 8.0 mm height — tall enough to expose the bey to a bit more burst risk, but sturdy and easy to build around.
- Bit FB (Free Ball): a free-spinning ball tip that rotates freely within the ratchet, dulling the energy cost of riding the Xtreme Line and cutting stamina losses even further.
How it plays
Everything about Silver Wolf is pointed at one goal: don't stop spinning. The free-spinning blade layer softens blows when rivals smash into it, and the Free Ball bit smooths out contact with the stadium floor and rail so it bleeds less rotation over time. The result is a bey that sits near center, absorbs a surprising amount of punishment, and regularly outlasts attackers who come in hot. Its one weak spot is the tall 3-80 ratchet — being up high gives opponents a bigger target to strike up into, so it can be burst-prone against patient, aggressive foes. Between the gimmick and the bundled launcher, it's widely considered one of the best products for new players to learn Beyblade X on.
Combos & variants
The Free Ball bit is the prize here — free-spinning tips became a fixture of top stamina decks, and FB itself is worth grabbing independent of the rest. The 3-80 ratchet is a common, useful piece in all kinds of builds, while the Silver Wolf blade shines best on stamina and stationary setups where its deflection really counts. Later Unique Line releases built directly on this formula, making Silver Wolf the template for the line's best endurance combos. Hasbro later released it as Sterling Wolf 3-80FB, so the design reached fans in both regions.
Where to get one
Released as the UX-08 Starter in Japan on October 12, 2024 for ¥2080, coming with a recolored Winder Launcher and the free-spin gimmick fully intact. Hasbro brought it West as Sterling Wolf 3-80FB. For a Stamina player — or anyone who just loves a clever gimmick — it's one of the most rewarding singles of the Unique Line.
