The bey
Rhino Horn is Beyblade X's hefty, no-nonsense Defense Type — spent its career planted at the center of the stadium like a wall, daring opponents to come crash into it. It's the bey of the character Cho Pan, and its whole identity is staying put: a rugged, spike-backed blade on a tall ratchet, with a pointy Spike bit underneath that keeps it glued to its spot. It doesn't try to run anyone off the rail; it lets them come to it and spits them right back out.

- Blade: a small, rugged, heavily armored blade designed to soak up contact — it keeps its shape under hits and turns that absorbed impact into counterattacks of its own.
- Ratchet (3-80): three blades at a tall 8.0 mm height — the tall stance is part of the defense formula, though it does leave the bey a bigger target to strike up into.
- Bit S (Spike): a pointy, stationary tip that locks the combo to the center of the stadium, keeping it steady and predictable even under a hard launch.
How it plays
Rhino Horn is the definition of easy to control. The Spike bit keeps it planted near center, so it doesn't flail around the arena — and because it stays still, it's consistently there to meet incoming attackers head-on. Its sturdy blade doesn't really "absorb" hits so much as trade them, converting smash into strong counterpunches that can chalk up Over, Xtreme, or Burst finishes. There's a catch, though: that same recoil cuts both ways. A clean hit can send Rhino Horn flying into the pockets it was supposed to defend, and the tall 3-80 ratchet makes bursting a real risk under pressure, so its tournament results are inconsistent even though every battle is a spectacle.
Combos & variants
The Spike bit is the takeaway part — one of those docile, high-stamina tips that slots neatly into stationary and defense builds far beyond just Rhino Horn (players routinely pair it with aggressive blades like Dran Sword or Shark Edge). In Rhino Horn's own combo, the tall 3-80 is the main thing people tweak: swapping in a lower 4-60 or 3-60 tightens up the burst resistance. As a cheap Booster that ships a genuinely useful bit, it's a popular pick for players rounding out a defensive bench.
Where to get one
Released as the BX-19 Booster in Japan on November 2, 2023 for ¥1400 — a single bey, no launcher, for low-cost collectors. Hasbro released it in Western markets as Horn Rhino 3-80S in a booster pack, so it's an easy pickup on either side of the ocean.
