Random Boosters have carved out their own small ritual for a lot of us. They are the pack-opening fix without the whole box commitment, the way some people buy a raffle ticket just for the few seconds where anything could happen. You know going in that a duplicate is waiting in there somewhere. You buy anyway, because the one you actually want is sitting just a couple of pulls down, and so is the story about how you got it.
This one goes all in on its gimmick, a crocodile set with the bite the name promises, and across three colorways instead of the usual single recolor.
It is the theme that has me thinking about this one more than the gamble. Crocodiles are a good mascot for a burst of bladed aggression and barely controlled menace, and "CrocTread" reads like armor built to snap at whatever wanders close. I would love to tell you which of the three colorways is the keeper, but Takara Tomy has not shown them yet. I will not invent color names or pretend to have stats. Plenty of sites will fill those gaps with confident guesses before release; I would rather say "no idea" than hand you numbers I made up.
